Vairano, Italy, November 25-th, 2022 – VinFast, a global smart electric vehicle brand from Vietnam, is continuing the partnership with AUTOBEST to organize the “ECOBEST Challenge 2022 – Electrified by VinFast”. This is the world’s first real traffic electric vehicle test, with the goal of delivering information about electric vehicle models more transparent, thus increasing public awareness of the advantages of switching to environmentally friendly green-powered vehicles.
VinFast – a global smart electric vehicle brand from Vietnam, today announces the partnership with AUTOBEST to organize the “ECOBEST Challenge 2021 – Electrified by VinFast” in Barcelona, Spain. This is the world’s first real traffic electric vehicle test, with the goal of making information about electric vehicle models more transparent, thus increasing public awareness of the advantages of switching to environmentally friendly green-powered vehicles.
The 2024 edition of the ECOBEST Challenge has been certified by Bureau Veritas – a global recognition of the genuine, comprehensive, consistent, and innovative methodology employed in testing electric vehicles (EVs) in real traffic conditions and assessing their real-life green credentials in an unbiased manner.
Last year edition, Bureau Veritas granted ECOBEST Challenge for the first time the certification after a very detailed analysis of the testing methodology, refined in many years of measuring green credentials of EV’s based on criteria pioneered by the AUTOBEST organization.
In 2009 AUTOBEST launched ECOBEST Challenge project, as a world’s first project for measurements of consumption, CO2 emissions, pollutants and micro particles. ECOBEST Challenge was launched years before Diesel gate scandal, with the aim to give consumer real data in real life traffic.
